Welcome in the New Year with a renewed sense of hope. As our gift of gratitude to you, all holiday programs are included with your overnight stay.
Featured programs include a five-course dinner designed by collaborating chef Mads Refslund, followed by live music and resolutions in the Main Barn lounge or around the fire circle.

Join us on the beach to experience the last sunset of 2020. Enjoy a warm mug of tea and contemplate this transition in a meaningful, memorable way.
5:30-6:30PM | Afternoon Tea
We invite you to the Main Barn to enjoy some of our signature teas and snacks before the evening’s festivities.
8:00-9:00PM | Elixirs & Tonics
Learn to nourish the body using herbs and botanical medicines. This is both a tasting and a demonstration.
9:00PM-12:15AM | Five-Course Dinner, Followed by Fireside Music and Resolutions
Enjoy a culinary feast designed by acclaimed chef Mads Refslund. After dinner, relax in the Main Barn or by the Fire Circle with live music.

7:00-8:30AM | Sunrise Nature Walk
Take in the first sunrise of 2021 with a brisk walk at a nearby nature refuge boasting exceptionally diverse habitats including beaches and bluffs overlooking the bays, forests, fields, ponds and a lagoon.
8:00-11:30AM | SSBH Signature Breakfast
Enjoy an extended breakfast time for those looking to sleep in. Sample our house-made items including silken tofu with ponzu, granola and chia seed pudding.
8:00-9:00AM | HIIT Flow
Experience a physically invigorating combination of high-intensity interval training coupled with the mindful techniques of flow yoga.
10:00-11:00AM | Yoga
For those looking to slow down, take our gentle morning movement to nourish the body, mind and soul.
11:30AM-1:00PM | New Year’s Ritual for Transformation
This workshop is intended to help you process the past year and step forward into the next. Within a small group setting we will utilize meditation, visualization and journaling to forge a new path ahead and set an intention (to commit) to change. Explore your truths, illuminate your shadows, and move forward with clarity.
Every meal is planned with careful attention to your needs. The timing and setting are an integral part of the Shou Sugi Ban House experience.
In-room and private dining services are available.
