The Studios
Thirteen private guest studios are located on the serene main property and encourage a truly integrated experience with Shou Sugi Ban House’s philosophies, communal spaces, luxury spa, wellness facilities, demonstration kitchen and culinary offerings.
Each 400 square foot studio accommodates up to two guests and features either a king or queen bed, luxurious soaking tub, modern gas fireplace, and organic Japanese amenities.
The Studios are connected in structure, yet each has their own private entrance and private garden patio. Lush grasses surround the spaces to offer privacy and serenity throughout your stay.

Our Seasonal Events + Programs offer additional opportunities to enrich your stay from culinary events, to healing arts sessions, to group classes and programs.
Given the intimate size of our property and high level of demand, we anticipate that Shou Sugi Ban Spa may be fully committed during your stay, and we highly recommend making your preferred reservations in advance of your arrival. During peak season, it is suggested to book at least three weeks in advance of your visit to ensure availability.
