Join us for an evening of seasonally inspired food sourced from the farm-fresh produce found on the East End. Menus will be created by our in-house Executive Chef, Sabdiel Cortes, and will invite you to cheers to the weekend on Thursday.
Sabdiel Cortes has a culinary background rich in varying cuisines. His career and love for the culinary arts began in Puerto Rico where he was born and raised. Growing up watching his uncle – the only man in his family who knew how to cook – inspired his love for cooking and his curiosity about food. Sabdiel spent the better part of seven years working across Puerto Rico in various restaurants, allowing him to explore different cuisines. After refining his skills he made the decision to fast track his career and move to New York City where he worked with various notable chefs including Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud of Café Boulud, celebrity chef Marc Murphy of Landmarc, and chef Gunnar Gíslason, co-owner of Michelin-starred Icelandic restaurant, Dill. It was at Dill that he met chef Mads Refslund and began his journey with the Shou Sugi Ban House team.
