Nervous System Reset with Nicholas Pratley

A three-night, four-day program for 10 guests:
May 9 – 12

Join us for a three-night, four-day retreat program hosted by Nicholas Pratley – licensed Neuro-Linguistic Programming Therapist, Master Energy Practitioner, Breathwork Expert, and Founder of SP8CE – to recode your mind, body, and energy.

As a culture, we are overstimulated and overstressed which leads us into a life of not listening to self. Within the itinerary of this four-day program, you will be supported with tools to unplug from overstimulation and plug into the natural wisdom that emerges through stillness. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the vagus nerve, nervous system, and heart, and learn how recalibration can be deeply restorative to clear the mind, open the heart, and release stress.

Nicholas says, “Slowing down allows the natural intelligence of our very sophisticated nervous system to come online. We need to create the environment so that it can do what it’s designed to do: find balance. When it comes to optimizing our health, there’s a way to activate our power to heal and that’s by listening deeply to the symptoms that show up in our bodies. This is why creating space and slowing down is crucial. Symptoms reveal root causes, which is where the truth lives, and that is energetic health. After all, it’s not what we are doing, it’s the way we are doing it.”

The retreat encompasses more than a dozen group experiences personally designed by Nicholas, incorporating biofield breathwork and energy medicine, sound healing, grounding meditation practices, tea ceremonies, and reflective satsangs, as well as free time to enjoy private contemplation and integration. The program is enhanced with daily wellness programming led by the team at Shou Sugi Ban House.

In addition, you will enjoy daily communal hydrotherapy and thermal suite rituals, three plant-forward meals to help nourish and ground the body and mind, as well as take home gifts from Nicholas for ongoing support. Each guest will also receive a $750 Spa and Wellness credit to be used towards spa and healing arts sessions of your choice.

FEATURED PROGRAMS

WELCOME GATHERING
Come together with your fellow retreat guests and step into a collective space of introspection.

GROUP BIOFIELD BREATHWORK & SOUND HEALING
This breath-focused experience is designed to expand your human electromagnetic biofield and accelerate your human experience. Working with the five breaths that correlate with the five layers of the human biofield, we open our energetic pathways and turn stagnation into free-flowing energy. For further expansion, Nicholas closes each session with a healing sound mediation.

GROUNDING PRACTICE: MEDITATION & TEA CEREMONY
Ground the intentions for your day and foster mindfulness as a daily practice.

SATSANG AND Q&A
Satsang means “sacred gathering.” In this space, unfold what you’re discovering through open dialogue, and kindred connections.

SHABU-SHABU
A communal dining experience where all guests at the table select farm-fresh ingredients to be cooked in a Japanese style hot-pot of flavorful broth.

GROUP BIOFIELD ENERGY MEDICINE
A hands-on energetic technique designed to attune your Biofield – the field of intelligence that surrounds your human body. This revolutionary process provides direct access to your energetic wisdom, helps you to consistently optimize your personal light frequency, and allows you to discover the super-human that lives within you.

MINDFUL DINING RITUAL: VIBRATIONAL MEDICINE
With your hosts and the culinary team as your guides, you‘ll tap into the flavor profiles, emotions, memories, and sensory components that a specific food evokes within you. This practice offers a deep state of mindfulness for the experience of eating, which we so often do not slow down to appreciate. To further enhance the sensory experience, an optional wine pairing of organic, biodynamic, and sustainable wines will be available.

COMMUNAL HYDROTHERAPY & THERMAL SUITE RITUALS
A ritual that has long been used for its therapeutic benefits. Facilities include an indoor thermal suite with infrared sauna, dry sauna, aromatic steam room, experience shower and ice fountain, as well as three outdoor, contrasting saltwater plunge pools.

CUSTOM YOGA & MOVEMENT CLASSES
Daily wellness activities led by the Shou Sugi Ban House team include offerings focused on mindful movement, postural alignment, and breathwork techniques to suit all levels of practice.
