Building upon the success of last year’s inaugural retreat, this three-night, four-day  program will feature a mix of new talks and interactive workshops designed and led by Lydia Fenet, as well as guest speakers, including  artist and author Kate Schelter; and wellness expert, Sarah Wragge. Participants will enjoy one-on-one  sessions with Fenet to set their intentions for the New Year, daily movement classes and wellness  activities led by the Shou Sugi Ban House team, access to the hydrotherapy and thermal suite, communal-style meals from the wellness retreat’s hyper-local menu, and a $750 spa and wellness credit  to be used towards spa and healing arts treatments. 

This year’s program will be exceptionally unique, as Shou Sugi Ban House and Fenet introduce two  new special programs, including an afternoon watercolor painting master class led by Kate Schelter,  guiding guests to explore their inner artist, and have fun while doing it. Schelter’s creative coaching style is drawn from her own passion as a watercolor artist, as well as her expertise as a creative  director for luxury fashion and lifestyle brands. In addition, Sarah Wragge will join Fenet  for a fireside chat called “Eating for Energy,” where she’ll share her innovative approach to wellness. Wragge leads the cutting edge of nutritional innovation as the Founder and Chief Nutrition  Expert of Sarah Wragge Wellness® and creator of the revolutionary SWW Method®. Born from her own  personal struggles with chronic health issues, Wragge helps empower others on their own health journey  and equips clients with tools to optimize their health and energy reserves.  

MEET YOUR HOST

Lydia Fenet is the founder and CEO of the Lydia Fenet Agency, a boutique agency representing best in class charity auctioneers. Over her two-decade long career, Lydia served as the Global Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships for Christie’s and reshaped the fundraising landscape as the world’s leading charity auctioneer.

She has single-handedly raised over one billion dollars for more than 800 organizations and broken-down countless barriers for women in the auction industry. Lydia is the author of two best-selling books, The Most Powerful Woman in the Room is You and Claim Your Confidence, as well as the podcast host of Claim Your Confidence in collaboration with Rockefeller Center.

Lydia is represented by CAA and travels internationally to speak to companies about unlocking their sales potential, empowering people in the workplace and the art of public speaking.

PRICING FOR OVERNIGHT GUESTS & ACCOMMODATION TYPES

To offer the most comfortable experience for all guests, there are four different accommodation options available for this integrative retreat:

Guest Studio
Twelve private guest studios are located on the main property. Each studio is  400 square feet in size, may accommodate up to two guests, and features either a king or queen  bed, luxurious soaking tub, modern gas fireplace, and organic amenities by Sangre de Fruta. $6,710 single occupancy; $5,743 per person for double occupancy*

Each participant will enjoy accommodations in a private guest studio which features a king or queen bed, luxurious soaking tub, modern gas fireplace, and private entrances, as well as organic Japanese amenities, signature herbal teas, and nightly seasonal bath soak.

All meals from our acclaimed, plant-forward culinary program designed in collaboration with Michelin-starred Chef Mads Refslund are included, beginning with lunch upon arrival, through breakfast prior to departure.

À la carte food & beverage options, as well as organic, biodynamic, or sustainably sourced wines are available at an additional cost and are not included in the package price.

Enjoy a $750 spa & wellness credit to be used towards spa or healing arts treatments that support your journey. Additional services may be scheduled, subject to availability and additional cost.

$3,675 per person for the full four-day program
$1,300 per person for a full single-day of the program

POLICIES

All retreat reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance payable by credit card 30 days prior to the event start date. Deposits are fully refundable if cancellation is made 60 days of the event start date. Deposits are partially refundable (25% of the total program fee) if cancellation is made 30 days of the event start date. All bookings made within 30 days of arrival will be charged the full package cost upon booking.

Food & beverage options not noted on the list of inclusions, such as wine and à la carte food items are not included in the package price and may be added at a supplemental cost. Any additional items, including spa & healing arts services not covered by the package credit, will be added and applied at the time of check-out.

Please note that the spa & wellness credit may only be used towards spa or healing arts services, cannot be applied to other associated costs of the retreat, and if not used will be forfeited. Preferred services are subject to availability at time of booking.
