Gather

Shou Sugi Ban House offers a balance between seclusion and connection through its architecture and intentional balance of public and private spaces.

The Main Barn offers a natural light-filled space that encourages community. Our open demonstration kitchen and communal table showcases our culinary philosophy, the glass meditation hall creates a grounding environment for daily wellness activities and a generous second-floor conference room offers space for workshops, meetings, and corporate retreats. Evenings can be spent gathered for dinner, music, or a fire circle if you are not relaxing in the privacy of your guest studio.

Hydrate

At Shou Sugi Ban House, water is healer, inspiration, teacher and muse. Reflecting our close proximity to the ocean, water plays a central role in our programming, property, and guest experience.

Overnight guests have access to our saltwater swimming pool. Our spa features a circuit of hot and cold hydrotherapy plunge pools, a Watsu treatment pool and wellness bath rituals. We encourage and teach the benefits of a nightly soak as a process that helps detoxify the body and encourage restful sleep.
