Alexis Brink, LMT, a native of the Netherlands, came to New York at a young age to be a Broadway dancer. After a knee injury left her unable to perform, she was guided to the Art of Jin Shin, which not only healed her, but put her on a new life’s journey. This practice is an energy healing modality that originated in Japan, and harmonizes the body, mind, and spirit.

Alexis is the Director of Jin Shin Institute and holds a private practice in New York City. Honored in high regard, she has taught the art of Jin Shin in hospitals to medical professionals, in the New York Public School system, and for wellness organizations and diverse communities around the world. Alexis has written two Textbooks on how to become a practitioner in the Art of Jin Shin, as well as two books that have been translated into six languages; “The Art of Jin Shin” and “Healing at Your Fingertips.” Under her direction, the Jin Shin Institute is now offering a comprehensive curriculum to a new generation of leading practitioners and teachers.

The Art of Jin Shin

The Art of Jin Shin, often described as “acupuncture without the needles” is an ancient Japanese practice that involves placing hands on specific points on the body to harmonize and restore energy flow. This practice helps ease symptoms such as anxiety, depression and stress, back, neck and hip pain, digestive, immune, and nervous system disfunction, as well as helps regulate blood pressure, and more. Each session combines hands-on healing, along with a fifteen consultation focused on personalized self help routines and rituals for at-home care. Through this unique approach, Alexis ensures that every aspect of your personalized session is directly aligned with your wellness goals, providing a comprehensive healing and deeply relaxing experience.
