Workshop Descriptions:

Nutrition for Digestive Wellness: Learn about the intricacies of the human digestive system and how your body actually breaks down foods. We will cover the ways you may be unintentionally sabotaging your health and how to get your digestive system up and running. We will discuss foods, supplements, and supportive elixirs to promote a healthy system as well as the microbiome.

Yoga Nidra with Gongs: A full body relaxation including visualizations and the soothing sounds of our planetary gongs to help prepare you for sleep.

Radical Self-Care Workshop: Practical tools, group sharing and meditation will enable you to reclaim your mind and body. We will explore the four pillars of self-care and exactly how they apply to each individual. We will also discuss the ways we hinder our own well-being and introduce intelligent methods to bring yourself back into a state of balance.

Farmstand Shopping Excursion: Travel off the grounds of Shou Sugi Ban House with our Resident Nutritionist to understand the dynamics of shopping locally and feeding your body with the healthiest ingredients you can source.

Fermented Foods Workshop: Explore the earliest form of food preservation with an interactive workshop. Learn to ferment your own foods and discover the natural changes that occur during the process, which add nutrients and healthful probiotics to maximize your gut health.

Tea for Sleep: Enjoy a tasting of our signature teas designed to lull you into a peaceful state. Discuss the benefits of tea for mindfullnes and their medicinal properties.

Juicing & Blending Workshop: Discover the healing powers of juicing, superfoods and smoothies and develop an understanding of how they can be used for optimizing hydration, cleansing the body of toxins and restoring balance. You will navigate the world of turning fruits, vegetables and superfoods into blends that you can best integrate into your daily life.
